Six Sisters is both a story of tradition and reinvention. My name is Tracey and I grew up in a family of six girls — Mary, Jeanine, Maura, myself, Amy and Kara.
With such a large family living in a three bedroom, one and a half bathroom house, it was an ongoing challenge to keep a clean, organized home. Our parents, Gene and Jude, put a lot of thought and care into creating a smoothly running household. They created a process for every task and everything had a home.
My sisters and I took to heart what was taught and we still use what we learned growing up to take care of our own homes today. Since we all live within an hour of each other, we continue the tradition of tackling projects together.
I had been considering a career change and looking back on years of helping family and friends move, clean and organize, I realized how much I truly enjoy doing that kind of work. I decided to retire from my corporate job of thirty-two years and begin my new career as a professional organizer. It’s a career that I absolutely love and a job that doesn’t feel like ‘work’.
I named the business with the six of us in mind. Each of us, with our unique talents and drive, together can tackle any project, large or small. Take a look at the jobs you have on your to-do list and… let a sister help you out!
